Questions and Answers: Your Wedding Registry

by Malcolm

June is fast approaching. With June comes the traditional start of “wedding season.” And with weddings come questions. Indoors or outdoors? Who should we invite?  Do we have to invite your cousins? What kind of cake should we have (perhaps Bobby’s Flay’s Chocolate Blackout Wedding Cake with Coconut Buttercream?) Do we need to move to Iowa to make this legal? Where should we register for gifts?

As you might guess, we have an answer to that last question (well, to be honest, we’d be more than happy to sample cakes and give you an answer to that question as well – just bring the samples by the shop). We’ve been honored to have be chosen by a bunch of couples so far to be their place to register for cooking stuff.

Most folks have chosen us for similar reasons – we’re local, we’re small, we can offer honest advice tailored just to you and your needs, and we’re willing to go the extra mile to make things work for you, whether that means special ordering items or helping your elderly great aunt choose a gift over the phone.

With that in mind, we’re happy to announce that you can now create and manage your wedding registry on our website. Of course we’d love to see you in the shop, but we know it’s sometimes easier to get the ball rolling online. Creating your registry is easy – just visit our Registry page and choose Create or Manage Your Registry. You’ll be guided through the process. And if during the process you have questions or would like to register for items you don’t see on our website we’re just an email or phone call away.

We know you have many questions to answer as you prepare for your wedding, and we hope we can help you answer at least some of those questions. Just don’t ask us to jump into the debate about inviting the cousins.
